I've always wanted to make a crocheted shawl for myself, and finally, after some weeks of hard work, i've done it!I've followed the "It's a Wrap" pattern, just making less rows and fringe.
I adore it, it's so cozy and warm.
Here you can see the stitches pattern:
I can say it was very easy to make, but it takes some time, especially for the last rows which seems to have no end!Anyway, a great easy pattern and a great shawl!
Have fun!

I love that! Thanks for pointing out the pattern. Ginger
I am going to make this shawl!! I absolutely LOVE your patterns, simple yet beautiful. Well done.
I always passed that pattern up because the yarn and the colors where just well...a bit too retro. It's amazing the difference the right yarn can make! And yours is proof. Very nice job on this! I'm totally re-thinking this pattern now.
Ah, I had the same thought as Anon. Can you tell us what yarn and hook you used? ('Cause this version looks way better!)
The yarn is an italian brand...sorry!
But any yarn that you can use with an 8.00mm hook will work well!!
Ciao and thanks for your comments!
I just made this shawl for myself using "I Love This Yarn" and have gotten RAVE reviews! Thank you for pointing out that a few tweaks can modernize anything! I love it!!
I saw this on Pinterest and I thought I could buy it.
I love it.
I love what you did with the pattern. The color, everything! Beautiful job. I have to make this.
You've take a pretty shawl and made it very lux, gorgeous! I will start it now with hopes of having it done for Fall...
Just what I was looking for! I'd never think about using the original pattern, thanks for showing how it can be great!
how did you wrap that!! I can't figure out how its draped!!!
This is really lovely. Please could you tell me what yarn you used? Is it cotton, wool, or other?
Thanks.....
I am planning on making this and was wondering how many balls of yarn it took you to complete it!
