Sometimes I need to learn something new and to make different things, and that's why I've quit chocheting and knitting for a while.</div><div>Can you see? I've also cut all my hair..it's the first time I have them so short!:) Many changes this year!</div><div>Now I feel I'm ready again to have hooks and needles in my heands, so I can say that probably some new free patterns are coming out...within this year hopefully!</div><div>I'm still trying to do some sewing stuff, but I'm a beginner with the sewing machine as I've always handsewed in the past. I'm still doing creative thing as you can see in <a href="http://www.creativeyarn.etsy.com/">my Etsy shop</a>, and I'm showing here one of my latest necklaces.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6ZaVQyQnZv8l1dC-UIMyTMC8N_vk-_zmcKB7Q8hmTib8FYrhU945YRpvld10Ee8_8fQnAM3aFRC9pLPoKpTk4Yv1PgBQLmIzlblJ3Fcn7oMTb0v7okEJ6sI0nmzbg_FF1YlDgqRtZ2jEQ/s1600-h/peppermint_necklace.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6ZaVQyQnZv8l1dC-UIMyTMC8N_vk-_zmcKB7Q8hmTib8FYrhU945YRpvld10Ee8_8fQnAM3aFRC9pLPoKpTk4Yv1PgBQLmIzlblJ3Fcn7oMTb0v7okEJ6sI0nmzbg_FF1YlDgqRtZ2jEQ/s320/peppermint_necklace.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5383946078767471602" border="0" /></a>I've also started to work with different materials, like chains and other metal stuff, but no way to find the time to write down patterns and fill my blog with new posts...<br />I'm sorry if I'm not able to answer to all the message I receive on my past free patterns, and I hope you'll understand.<br />Probably it will pass again a lot of time till I'll be able to write again on my blog, and I just wanted to say here that I'm very very happy that so many persons have enjoyed my creations and keep on following me.<br />Thank you with all my heart.<br />Best wishes to all of you,<br />ciao<br />martacreativeyarnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17593818698401028085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-721051724312301208.post-27223015244383128442008-12-21T13:36:00.000-08:002009-01-08T13:21:04.725-08:00Necktie with Bow free pattern<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8uOmA-NKvdvb8LEnUsTvqFs5ailSTEEqzASvQZKzKXB4mo0K9Dg1OcBXNGJEE-S4-3uMH66vZBpCX-MYuR09XqAuKP0bTkoa2EM2-naSayWkE8RI8YaHAabm8EAspK1IZawMfU3jLXC-h/s1600-h/wool_choker4.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8uOmA-NKvdvb8LEnUsTvqFs5ailSTEEqzASvQZKzKXB4mo0K9Dg1OcBXNGJEE-S4-3uMH66vZBpCX-MYuR09XqAuKP0bTkoa2EM2-naSayWkE8RI8YaHAabm8EAspK1IZawMfU3jLXC-h/s320/wool_choker4.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282361549459062786" border="0" /></a>A girl named Melissa asked me to share the pattern for this necktie with bow and I'm very happy to do so!<br />Here you can see it in two different colors: black and white and brick orange.<br />The pattern it's very very easy:<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Materials:<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">For the bow:<br /></span></span>Scraps of wool in any color you like. Repeat from * around, sl st to third ch of ch 14.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 8: </span>Ch 16, *dc in next dc, ch 13*. Repeat from * around, sl st to third ch of ch 16.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 9:</span> Repeat Rnd 8.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 10: </span>Repeat Rnd 7.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 11:</span> Repeat Rnd 6.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 12: </span>Repeat Rnd 5.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rnd 13:</span> Ch 3, 5 dc in ch space, *dc in next dc, 5 dc in ch space*. Work in dc across for two rows and then start the body piece, leaving the tie's stitches unworked.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVel4VQ8MCz1M9ab4kCjCkijAVEitSwucdXS8vo9gpXieIncDOha7B5aezw6W-_Ib0ZBJaoLwtT4Xcg8A3wWrx_fxN3cEvgUDiSVFprNRB32rViJlhLVrAdEbmAJaZFIbQ4SaTWvTA-VAz/s1600-h/cherry_red_shrug4.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVel4VQ8MCz1M9ab4kCjCkijAVEitSwucdXS8vo9gpXieIncDOha7B5aezw6W-_Ib0ZBJaoLwtT4Xcg8A3wWrx_fxN3cEvgUDiSVFprNRB32rViJlhLVrAdEbmAJaZFIbQ4SaTWvTA-VAz/s320/cherry_red_shrug4.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5176442466539976898" border="0" /></a>You should work with <a href="http://www.jessica-tromp.nl/haken_haakpatronen/30%20st%20x%2030%20tr.JPG">this motif </a>on the entire body, decreasing a dc on each side (neck shape), until you've reached the armholes. Here you should divide back piece from the two front pieces.<br />On each front piece continue decreasing at neck sides and start decreasing even at shoulders for some rows. On the back piece, just decrease the same number of stitches you've done for the shoulder's sides of the front pieces.<br />I don't know how I've made those pretty puff sleeves, maybe it was the fortune of the beginner!!<br />I'm sure that you can improvise as I did, and make it right!creativeyarnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17593818698401028085noreply@blogger.com
