I've made this shawl as a custom order to match the beret with antique rose applique in the picture below.The pattern is the Lion Brand "Half Moon Shawl" that everyone has done, but I've added some fringe.
I've made one for me as well in the same color, and I'm really in love with it!
The beret is made from my free "Soft tam beret" pattern, to which I've added a simple crochet contrasting color border and a simple rounded applique.
I think the both are nice, and I love them together..well, I'm proud of my creations!And I can't stop working with my hooks and needles!!

Both these projects look great. I was thinking about making the half moon shawl from Lion Brand, yours turned out so well.

The shawl is so beautiful! What kind of yarn and what size hook have you used? I've downloaded the pattern, and the original yarn is no longer available...

I've used an 8.00mm hook and I don't remember the yarn brand, but it was an italian brand so you'll probably won't find the same!
Anyway it was a chunky yarn!
